Rebaba y Brasas: innovating even on the grill

HEMAQ’s philosophy is born from collaboration and joint efforts, and this is why we have developed a new concept: Rebaba y Brasas. A barbecue competition that mixes the gastronomic culture of northern Mexico with the desire to team up and create spaces of business synergy for the manufacturing sector.

This event brings together the taste for enjoying quality moments and the need to create business alliances between suppliers, clients and business partners from the manufacturing sector; hand in hand with experiences that mix gastronomy, music and technology.

Innovation is part of HEMAQ’s philosophy, and we take it to the grill, so we gladly held the second edition of this event on April 25 with the help of three official suppliers: Rrey Beer, Grillhouse by Sigma and Weber. As well as 11 sponsoring brands specialized in accessories and tools for CNC equipment and the automation of manufacturing processes, in addition to business platforms oriented to the aerospace sector: BLUM Novotest, Brasmex, ELMEC Cutting Tools, Hainbuch, Iscar, Kitagawa NorthTech, Monterrey Aerocluster, Sandvik Coromant, Schunk and Universal Robots.

The Rebaba y Brasas grill competition was divided into 7 categories: appetizer or snack, main course, dessert, sauce, most joyful team, most original dish and dish with the best presentation..

The results spoke for themselves, with a total of 266 attendees and representatives from 103 companies in the metalworking industry from all over Mexico.

We are at a crucial moment for the growth of the sector throughout Mexico, and that is why Rebaba y Brasas is presented as an annual event that will bring the most advanced technology of the leading brands in the metalworking industry to the key players in the manufacturing sector in Mexico.
